Wee Gallery Re-stickable Wall Decals

As a seven month pregnant beach ball, it’s no surprise that I have baby on the brain these days. I feel a bit guilty as I haven’t really been focusing as much on this second baby as I did during my first pregnancy – mainly because my toddler and work are soaking up all my attention. But it just hit me recently that the new baby is going to be here soon…really soon!

So, to make it up to Baby #2, I’ve been devoting my spare time to making a cozy little nest for him. I found these adorable wall decals by Wee Gallery. These decals are designed by husband and wife team, Dave and Surya, who have taken into consideration a newborn infant’s development. As parents they found out that most newborns are only able to see 12 to 15 inches away and are drawn to high contract black and white images. The adorable animal graphics were tested out on their own children who were continually drawn back to them.

I love this Jungle Wall theme:

How to Make a Whimsical Wreath

Since the spring weather has been so nice lately, I’ve been taking a lot more walks around my neighbourhood. Aside from enjoying the fresh air and budding trees, I’ve been enjoying all of the pretty wreaths hanging from people’s doors. I started getting WREATH ENVY.

Ever since I was a little girl, I always pictured my home to have a porch swing, a window seat and a welcoming wreath. While I don’t have a window seat, I do have a porch (but no swing-yet), and I was determined to get my wreath, dammit! I previously purchased an autumn/winter wreath but couldn’t find a spring/summer wreath that suited my fancy. So I decided to make my dream wreath.
