Last week I took some “me” time while my husband took care of the baby and I had the rare treat of getting a pedicure. The esthetician introduced me to SpaRitual, a beauty line which features eco-friendly products. Its vegan nail lacquers are touted as DBP, formaldehyde and toluene-free.
I don’t know about you, but I noticed that my nails would sometimes turn yellow after repeated use of certain nail polishes. Formaldehyde is one of the contributors to yellow nails. While I know all nail polishes contain chemicals, I’m glad to find one sans all the nastiest offenders.
I chose the colour Miss World, a shimmery pink, part of SpaRitual’s Airy Sopranos line. I would have taken a photo of my feet to show you the colour, but wanted to spare you the torture.
Here are a few other “green” nail polish options:
Honey Bee Gardens
No Miss
Nubar
Peace Keeper Cause-Metics
Safe Nail Polish
Sante
Zoya
